Bonners Ferry, nestled in the heart of Boundary County, was named the Friendliest Town in Idaho—and Rick Dinning couldn’t agree more. Born and raised here, Rick is proud to call it home.
His roots in real estate run deep. Rick’s father, Irv Dinning, earned his real estate license in 1958 and founded Dinning Real Estate. From an early age, Rick was exploring properties alongside his dad throughout the mountains and valleys of Idaho and Montana, sparking a lifelong passion for the land and the people who live on it. Rick earned his own license in 1978 and has carried forward the family legacy ever since, now a respected Realtor licensed in both Idaho and Montana.
Rick graduated from Whitworth University with a degree in Business Management and returned to Boundary County to raise his family with his wife, Chris. A true outdoorsman, he’s spent decades trekking through the scenic wilds of North Idaho and Western Montana, getting to know every bend in the trail and every neighbor along the way. He’s particularly drawn to rural land and unique properties—but has experience handling every type of real estate transaction.
Rick believes that buying property should be an exciting and enjoyable journey—not a stressful one. He welcomes conversation and is always happy to sit down and talk. With genuine care and deep local insight, he’ll tap into every resource to help you find the ideal property and Own Your Dream.

Her expertise spans all of North Idaho—from the Canadian border, west to Priest Lake, and south to Coeur d’Alene. She’s especially known for her knowledge of off-grid homes and raw land, and takes pride in personally getting to know the unique characteristics of each property she represents. Whether it’s across town or deep in the backcountry, Cassandra is happy to travel to help clients discover the perfect fit.
After exploring 48 states, Cassandra found her forever home in Bonners Ferry. She’s been rooted in Boundary County for over 31 years, raising her family in a community she feels incredibly blessed to be part of. A proud mother of seven, grandmother to 29, and great-grandmother to four, Cassandra’s life has been shaped by deep relationships and strong values. Her connection to off-grid living runs deep, with two personal properties: one tucked in the mountains and another on an island. Her main home and home office remain in Bonners Ferry, where she enjoys fishing, hydroplane boat racing (a passion for over 30 years), and competitive pool shooting—earning numerous top female shooter trophies over the years. Cassandra also owns an antique shop in town, Selkirk Northern Treasures, a family-led venture that celebrates local charm and history.
With her wealth of experience, love for the land, and commitment to the people who call it home, Cassandra’s mission is clear: to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for North Idaho, and to help you find your own forever home or piece of land that speaks to your heart.
